Welcome

As a Licensed Psychotherapist I help individuals and couples optimize their emotional and mental health to improve the quality of their lives.  I am passionate about what I do and feel that it’s an honor to be trusted to help you work through issues, strengthen your resilience, and achieve your goals.  I’m known by my clients to be non-judgmental, warm, compassionate, accepting, and to put others quickly at ease.  I utilize a variety of proven treatment modalities. Predominately I work from a Solutions-Focused Therapy perspective and utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy, Gentle Reprocessing, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness techniques. With couples, I have earned a Certificate in the Treatment of Couples from Boston University. I work primary from the Gottman Method.

I am committed to high quality care.  I will engage you, be empathetic, and yet challenge you appropriately to achieve your goals.  Sessions with me are a combination of non-judgmental active listening, gaining insight and perspective, active problem solving, and learning effective people skills when needed. Depending upon need and upon the person, treatment could be short-term or longer term.  I will emphasize your strengths and will help you build upon those to achieve your goals.  I am continually inspired by my clients and consider it a privilege to do this work.  I look forward to working with you.
